35 Years Old Man Stabs Wife To Death In Mayuge District
According to residents, Zakia’s body was found along the roadside near their home lifeless and in a pool of blood with wounds in the private parts and the head.

Police in Mayuge district are holding one Malevu Muzamiru, a resident of DFI zone Kavule ward in Mayuge Town, for allegedly stabbing his 19-year-old wife identified as Sarah Zakia to death over suspected adultery acts.
One of the neighbours who spoke to journalists said the two lovers have been suspecting each other of cheating. “Since they started staying with us, they have been fighting almost every day over phone calls,” the female neighbour said.
According to residents, Zakia’s body was found along the roadside near their home lifeless and in a pool of blood with wounds in the private parts and the head.

Atutula Yiidi, the DFI local council 1 chairperson, said he alerted police after seeing residents turning rowdy. “I informed the police earlier when residents started demolishing Malevu’s house. They wanted to kill him too,” the village chairperson said.
Siriba Bashir, the Mayuge district police commander confirmed the arrest of Malevu as the prime suspect and investigations are underway to establish the facts.
