UCC boss commends comedian Dr Tamale for promoting positive digital content

The executive director if Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), Nyombi Thembo, has praised content creator and comedian, Mutukuvu Innocent Tobi, popularly known as Dr Tamale, for using digital platforms to promote constructive and positive messages among young people.

Nyombi made the remarks after meeting Dr Tamale, who requested prayers and blessings during their interaction. The gesture was described as a reminder of the important role parents and leaders play in guiding the younger generation.

Their discussion focused on Uganda’s growing digital landscape and the contribution of young creators in shaping online conversations.

The UCC boss commended Dr Tamale for demonstrating that content creation can be entertaining and creative while avoiding abusive or divisive language.
