Anna Talia Oze Biography: Family, career, education background

When Urban TV started, she came up with an idea of a university-leaning show dubbed Campus 1on1 and she was given a slot.

You probably know her as Anna Talia Oze, born Annet Nambooze.  Born on October 10, 1992 (TBC) and grew up in Lungujja. She’s from a family of four and she is the third-born.

Her parents divorced when she was still in primary and the grandfather took custody of them. Her granddad is Waswa Lule, son of former President of Uganda Yusuf Lule.

Anna Talia Oze went to Lungujja Nursery School, St. Mary’s Nabbingo, Lungujja Hill Primary School, Alliance Secondary School in Lungujja for O-Level (owned by the grandfather), then Old Kampala S.S. for A-Level.

She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Education (Literature in English) from Makerere University.

Oze got her first TV gig in F.6 vacation at Urban TV. While still in A-Level, she was introduced to Miles Rwamiti, who was with Vision Group.

She initially didn’t get a TV gig so they encouraged her to write. That kept her around Vision Group.

When Urban TV started, she came up with an idea of a university-leaning show dubbed Campus 1on1 and she was given a slot.

She was fired from Urban TV after 3 years, then joined Record TV and left after 6 months for a gig at Delta TV, where she also quit after 3 months to join Spark TV.

She has also had a stint at Radio 4, owned by businessman Balaam Barugahara.

She left Spark TV in 2018 to join Next Media, which owns among other entities NBS TV and Sanyuka TV.
