BROMANCE: Besigye, Muhoozi diss Museveni’s reactionary NRM
Muhoozi responding to Besigye was respectful and called the FDC strongman an elder with whom he will discuss many issues.
Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba continues to attack his father’s political party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and now he has been joined by Col (Rtd) Dr Kizza Besigye, the founder of the opposition political party, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).
I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe in my father, General @KagutaMuseveni. I certainly do not believe in NRM. In Marxist terms it is probably the most reactionary organisation in the country.

On Sunday, 4th December 2022, on Twitter, Muhoozi said that whatever NRM has become certainly does not represent the people of Uganda. On Friday, 2nd December 2022, Muhoozi said he doesn’t believe in NRM and described it as the most reactionary organization in the country.
I am listening to the outcry of our people for change. I am with the people! Whatever NRM has become certainly does NOT represent the people of Uganda.

The description of NRM as a reaction outfit impressed Besigye, who, while quoting Muhoozi’s Friday tweet, agreed with Muhoozi and added that NRM is an outfit for organized crime.
There now seems to be a point I may agree on with @mkainerugaba: that NRM is “probably the most reactionary organisation in the country”!
What he’s yet to find out, is that NRM is an outfit for organised crime and that it is M7, his father. https://t.co/pTp4eyXVsH

And today, Monday 5th December 2022, Muhoozi responding to Besigye was respectful and called the FDC strongman an elder with whom he will discuss many issues. In the same response, he sent a message to another bush-war veteran and minister, Kahinda Otafiire.
Finally my elder @kizzabesigye1 and I agree on something. As I said before, I have no problem with @kzzabesigye1. He is my elder and I look forward to discussing with him on many issues. Maybe, he can teach Otafiire some lessons? https://t.co/6rVkQttDz4

Muhoozi hasn’t been shy about having a go at some of the army generals who fought with his father in the rebellion that ushered Museveni into power and swipe at Otafiire isn’t surprising at all.
