Chaeyoung leaves JYP entertainment to begin the new music chapter

TWICE member Son Chaeyoung has announced her departure from JYP Entertainment after 14 years with the company, as she prepares to begin a new chapter in her music career.
In a message shared with fans, known as ONCE, Chaeyoung expressed gratitude to JYP Entertainment, TWICE members, and everyone who supported her journey from the beginning.
She revealed that she is excited to introduce her new creative project, “LIL FANTASY,” a space where she can explore and develop her own music.
“I want to deeply thank everyone at JYP and Team TWICE for believing in and supporting me over the past 14 years,” Chaeyoung said.
The singer assured fans that her decision does not change her bond with TWICE, saying the group will always remain her foundation and an important part of her identity as an artist.
Chaeyoung also thanked her fellow members for their love and support, promising to continue growing and creating meaningful music for her fans.
She concluded by saying this new journey is a challenge she is ready to embrace, as both TWICE’s Chaeyoung and the artist behind LIL FANTASY continue to inspire listeners.
