Dr. Lawrence Muganga praises Apostle Grace Lubega for supporting students and vulnerable communities

Victoria University Vice Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga has praised Phaneroo Ministries founder Apostle Grace Lubega for his charitable work, highlighting his support for students, prisoners, street children, and vulnerable families.

In a statement, Dr. Muganga said he had personally witnessed Lubega’s efforts, particularly his financial support for students whose education might otherwise have been interrupted by financial challenges.

He also highlighted Phaneroo’s weekly visits to prisons, where members offer prayers, encouragement and support to inmates, as well as initiatives providing food and educational opportunities to street children.

According to Muganga, the ministry also supports vulnerable families in Karamoja with food and essential supplies, organises medical camps, assists orphanages and schools, and equips young people with practical skills, including technology.

He further commended Lubega for extending support to pastors from other churches, saying his charitable activities are driven by the desire to help communities rather than seeking public recognition.

Muganga urged the public to exercise respect when criticising religious leaders, emphasising the importance of acknowledging their positive contributions while allowing room for disagreement.

Meanwhile, Phaneroo is preparing to host two major events featuring Apostle Grace Lubega in Kampala.

The Joseph Gene Business Symposium 2026 is scheduled for November 13 at Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, running from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interested participants can register through TheJosephGene.org.

The ministry will also host the *Global Inter-University Conference 2026 on Saturday, November 14, at the same venue. Gates will open at 9:00 AM, and the entrance will be free.

Both events will feature Apostle Grace Lubega.
