Eleven die as fire burns Salama School of the Blind in Mukono

Police has revealed that eleven people have died after a fire burned down Salama School for the Blind in Luga Village, Ntanzi parish, Ntejeru Kisoga town council in Mukono district.
The Deputy Police Spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, said they are investigating the cause of the fire that occurred in the night.
“The cause of the fire is currently unknown but so far 11 deaths as a result of the fire have been confirmed while 6 are in critical condition and admitted at Herona Hospital in Kisoga,” he said.
