Kabaka’s resilient return electrifies Masaza cup final as Buddu claims third title

Yet, the real highlight was the appearance of Buganda’s revered King, Ssabasajja Edward Frederick Kimera Muwenda Mutebi II, whose attendance sent waves of joy and pride through the crowd.

The thrilling final saw Buddu secure their third Masaza Cup title with a 1-0 win over Kyaggwe. Both teams played with exceptional skill, but Buddu’s strategic edge clinched the victory.
Coach Simon Ddungu praised his team’s determination, saying, “We knew Kyaggwe would be tough, but our players showed true resilience.” Kyaggwe fought fiercely, narrowly missing their first title.
