No Clash: King Saha distances himself from Chameleone’s December 4 concert date

“For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state that I have no intention whatsoever of organizing or holding a concert on the same date, 4th December 2026, in competition with or alongside Jose Chameleone's event,” he said in the letter.

Ugandan singer King Saha has moved to clarify reports linking him to a potential concert clash with fellow music star Jose Chameleone on December 4, 2026.

In a letter issued under Kings Love Entertainment, King Saha, whose real name is Ssemanda Manisul, stated that he has no plans to organize or stage a concert on the same date that had initially been reserved by Chameleone for his “Chameleone Unlimited” show at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The clarification follows an earlier communication from Chameleone in which the Leone Island boss announced that he had voluntarily released his booking of the venue and authorized management to transfer the reservation to Kings Love Entertainment.

However, King Saha has now sought to dispel any perception that he intends to use the venue for a competing concert.

“For the avoidance of doubt, I wish to state that I have no intention whatsoever of organizing or holding a concert on the same date, 4th December 2026, in competition with or alongside Jose Chameleone’s event,” he said in the letter.

The singer emphasized that he remains committed to maintaining cordial relations within Uganda’s entertainment industry and respects fellow artists and promoters.

“My respect for fellow artists, promoters and the entertainment industry remains unwavering,” he noted, adding that any future events under his management would be planned independently and in a manner that promotes harmony and growth within the sector.

The development appears to ease speculation about a possible showdown between two of Uganda’s biggest music brands after Chameleone’s decision to release the venue sparked debate among fans and industry observers.

The exchange of letters has also highlighted efforts by leading artists to avoid scheduling conflicts that could divide audiences and affect ticket sales in an increasingly competitive entertainment market.

While Chameleone has maintained that his highly anticipated “Chameleone Unlimited” concert remains a priority and will be announced on a new date, King Saha’s latest statement suggests there will be no rivalry over December 4.

Industry stakeholders are now expected to await further announcements regarding future concert plans from both artists.
