Former President of Uganda Law Society (USL), Pheona Nabasa Wall has been appointed the first ever Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of League of East African Directors (LEAD), a no for profit organization that was formed for purposes of creating a consolidated reference point for selection and training of active and potential directors.

“We are pleased to announce that Ms. Pheona Nabasa-Wall (SC) has been appointed as the Chief Executive (CE) of the League of East African Directors,” LEAD said in an announcement.

Speaking to CEO Magazine, Nabasa said LEAD has a great business model and talented membership that uniquely positions it to contribute significantly to strengthening board leadership and governance.

“We shall focus on strengthening leadership and creating mindsets needed in the African region, to increase sustainable mindedness and resilience,” she said.
