UNEB refutes claims of leaked PLE papers
Jennifer Kalule - Musamba, the Spokesperson of UNEB, in a statement said the two cases which were being referred to are of past UCE examination papers but not those of the upcoming PLE.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has come out to quell fears and clarify that there has been no leakage of the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) papers.
Primary Seven candidates will write their PLE next week and there have been fears that questions have been leaked to the candidates.
Jennifer Kalule – Musamba, the Spokesperson of UNEB, in a statement said the two cases which were being referred to are of past UCE examination papers but not those of the upcoming PLE.
“The board wishes to reiterate that there has not been any leakage of the PLE papers. We call upon the public to ignore messages indicating that there has been such a leakage,” Kalule-Musamba said.
“The board would like to assure the public that stringent measures are in place to ensure that no examination leakages take place. We have so far managed to achieve this for UCE and similar arrangements are in place for PLE due next week,’ she added.
