16-year-old sodomized by gang in Nabweru South

Bakcho Derrick defiled a 16 year old juvenile on the 23rd Februaryafter promising him a better job since he was working as a casual worker.

Police is investigating circumstances where a teacher at Home KindergartenBusibante in Najeera was arrested in Kawempe North, Nansana Division and charged in court on acts of aggravated defilement and for sexually grooming children into acts of sodomy.

Accoridng to police facts the suspect Bakcho Derrick defiled a 16 year old juvenile on the 23rd Februaryafter promising him a better job since he was working as a casual worker.

SCP Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson, said Bakcho first transferred the victim from Najjeera up to Nabweru south 1 cell, where he and three other men wearing wigs stripped the juvenile naked and sodomized him in turns while in a a wall fenced house.

He noted that its so shamming that altogether 4 adult men engaged in this act of sodomizing a juvenile.

“We want to thank the defense secretary Busibante village Mr. Nsumba Sulait who took in interest in the matter and brought it to police. We managed to arrest the suspect, recovered exhibits like sex toys and drugs that are used, as well as jelly that they use in these sex crimes,” he said.

Police further noted that efforts are in place to tress for the other 3 sex gang members, who are already on the run.

This cames comes at a time where Hundreds of parents with children at PMM Girls’ School in Jinja City on Friday stormed the school, protesting against the alleged existence of a teacher promoting homsexuality.

As of today Police spokes person Fred Enanga has confirmed that the teacher was arrested by police on allegations of promoting homosexuality, and her alleged lesbian partner is also in custody accusing her of neglecting her and engaging in recruiting school girls into their vice.
In recent weeks, online conspiracy theories conflating child sexual abuse at boarding schools in Uganda, with consensual same-sex acts between adults have gone on increasing.
Last Week, Parliament granted leave to Bugiri Municipality Member of Parliament, Hon. Asuman Basalirwa to introduce a private member’s Bill titled the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, 2023.
The Bill seeks to prohibit any form of sexual relations between persons of the same sex and prohibit the promotion or recognition of such relations.
