Finance ministry applauds Tirupati for facilitating SMEs, small industrialists

Ggoobi on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Tirupati Business Park in Kyebando, one of the real estate properties owned by Tirupati Group that provides SMEs with rental space.

Tirupati Group, the proprietors of Tirupati Development (U) Ltd has been applauded for providing workspaces for micro & small industrialists, creating employment & paying taxes.

The kudos were delivered by the Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury (PSST), Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Ramathan Ggoobi.

Ggoobi on Saturday paid a courtesy visit to Tirupati Business Park in Kyebando, one of the real estate properties owned by Tirupati Group that provides SMEs with rental space.

At Tirupati Business Park, Ggoobi who was accompanied by Senior Presidential Advisor, Moses Byaruhanga, was received by Miraj Barot, the Managing Director of Tirupati Group.

Speaking during the tour of the facility in Kyebando, Ggoobi said this is a good model which can be replicated in other parts of the country to promote industrialization.

He also pledged the government’s support to the business park to expand & improve services.

Apart from Tirupati Business Park, Tirupati Group also has other properties in the country that have provided a home to SMEs like Mazima Shopping Mall I, Mazima Shopping Mall II, Tirupati Towers, Tirupati New Mazima, Tirupati Bukoto Shopping Mall, Ovino Market and Namanve ShoppingCenter.

It also has properties like Marina Portbell Apartments, Tirupati Heights, Bugolobi Apartments, Nkumba University Hostel and Miami Villas.
