Broke Uganda national Ludo team fails to travel to South Africa for Africa Championship

Uganda’s failure to participate in the Africa Ludo Nations Individual Championship, 2022 for the third time is a disappointment that may lead to its disqualification by Africa Ludo Federation.

Ludo players on the national team, Uganda Doves, are crestfallen after Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) failed to raise the funds to enable them to travel to South Africa for the Africa Ludo Nations Individual Championship (AL-NIC), 2022.

The continental tournament has kicked off today, 24th September, and will end on 28th September 2022.

Uganda Ludo Federation president Kalule Hussein said this is the third time in a row that Uganda is failing to participate in the Africa Ludo Nations Individual Championship.

This, he said, may lead to Africa Ludo Federation (ALF) disqualifying Uganda from representing Africa at the World Ludo Championship (WLC), 2022.

The World Ludo Championship organized by the International Ludo Federation (ILF) is expected to take place from 23rd to 29th November 2022 in Nepal.
