dfcu Bank dismisses ‘baseless and misleading’ allegations, reassures customers

dfcu Bank has moved to firmly dismiss what it described as “unfounded stories” and “baseless and misleading allegations” currently circulating, aimed at creating unnecessary concern among its customers and stakeholders.

In a press statement released by its Management, the bank strongly refuted the claims, assuring the public that these stories are without basis and should be disregarded.

“dfcu Bank has noted the circulation of unfounded stories intended to mislead and cause unnecessary concern. We assure our customers, stakeholders, and the public that these claims are without basis and should be treated with the contempt they deserve,” the statement read.

The financial institution reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to its core mandate: “Our focus remains on delivering secure, reliable, and innovative financial services to support individuals, businesses, and communities across Uganda.”

To counter the spread of misinformation, dfcu Bank urged the public to rely exclusively on official communications from the bank. “We urge the public to rely only on official communication from the Bank and to disregard misinformation from unverified sources,” management cautioned.
