Father unprecedentedly snubs son’s fancy wedding at Serena Kigo

Serunjoji is a leader among the Ugandan community in the US while Nabuti is a leader with the Ugandan community in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Every father’s dream is to see his son become a man by getting married beautiful wife. It is an achievement every father wishes for his child.

However, this is not the case for Kinene Muhammad, a prominent Kampala businessman, who snubbed his son’s wedding recently.

Kinene’s son, Ismail Serunjoji recently wedded Suzan Nabuti, a daughter of the late Hon. Rogers Kimaswa, the first Member of Parliament of Mbale Municipality.

Serunjoji is a leader among the Ugandan community in the US while Nabuti is a leader with the Ugandan community in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Kinene didn’t only snub the wedding but also mobilized the entire clan not to turn up for the wedding of his real biological son.

 

The wedding between Serunjoji and Nabuti was at Kibuli Mosque. It was attended by over 300 guests at Serena Kigo.

The outstanding absentee among these 300 guests was Kinene, Serunjoji’s father.

Serunjoji thought his father had the best interests for him only to see that the old man was working around the clock to fail the wedding.

Because of the father’s acts, the wedding was organized without any meeting; it was estimated to have cost about UGX200m.

The fancy wedding was entertained by musicians King Saha and Rema Namakula.
