Judiciary strengthens service delivery through court inspections in Mbale and Tororo

During the visit, HW Ereemye met with the Client Service Officer, Office Supervisor, and the courts’ mediation team to assess customer care practices, promote adherence to the Judiciary’s Client Charter, and identify areas requiring improvemen
He emphasised the importance of professionalism, timely communication, and responsiveness in ensuring that court users receive quality services and accurate informatio
The Public Relations Officer also highlighted the critical role of mediation and frontline staff in improving access to justice and strengthening trust between the Judiciary and the publi
Following the Mbale engagements, HW Ereemye proceeded to Tororo Chief Magistrate’s Court, where he was welcomed by Assistant Registrar Hellen Edimu, Chief Magistrate HW Irene Nambatya, and members of the court staf
HW Nambatya commended the initiative, saying such support supervision visits provide an opportunity to evaluate service delivery, share experiences, and address challenges affecting court operation
She called for regular engagements, noting that they promote accountability, improve customer service standards, and reinforce the Judiciary’s commitment to delivering people-centred justic
The inspection forms part of ongoing Judiciary initiatives aimed at enhancing customer care, improving communication with court users, and ensuring consistent implementation of the Client Charter across all courts in Ugand
