Minister Chris Baryomunsi now ‘stable and out of danger’
There was panic last night following reports that the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Dr Chris Baryomunsi, had collapsed while attending a public function in Rutenga Sub County.
The Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Dr Chris Baryomunsi, was Saturday evening airlifted to Kampala after feeling unwell while he was visiting constituents. The Kinkizi East Member of Parliament was from attending a Church service.
However, the minister, according to his Twitter activity, is well and has his full health back to normal.
“Friends, yesterday I had a blackout while in my constituency. I was moving from one church function to another,” the minister writes on his official Twitter page.
“I was rushed to Kambuga Hospital and then airlifted to Mulago Hospital. Am now stable and out of danger. The medical team is carrying out further tests. No need to worry,” he adds.
