Nation Media Group Uganda resumes operations after temporary pause

In a statement released on Tuesday, NMG Uganda said it was completing necessary operational arrangements to fully restore its services while thanking audiences, clients and partners for their patience and continued support during the period of interruption.

 

Kampala, 28 July 2026 — Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda has announced the resumption of its operations, with services across television, print, radio and digital platforms set to return progressively.

In a statement released on Tuesday, NMG Uganda said it was completing necessary operational arrangements to fully restore its services while thanking audiences, clients and partners for their patience and continued support during the period of interruption.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our audiences, clients and partners during this period and appreciate your continued trust and confidence in our brands,” the company said.

The media house reaffirmed its commitment to providing trusted, balanced and quality journalism across all its platforms as it returns to serving the public.

The announcement was made by Nation Media Group PLC Chairman Joe Muganda, who emphasized the organisation’s dedication to maintaining its role as a leading media provider in Africa.

Nation Media Group Uganda operates several platforms, including NTV Uganda, Daily Monitor, Spark TV, The EastAfrican, Nation Courier and Ennyanda, serving audiences through television, newspapers, radio and digital channels.
