People’s power more supreme than machine guns – FDC

Forum for Decomratic Change (FDC) has said that the 'cruel treatment of Ugandans who don't subscribe to the NRM cult isn't going unnoticed.

Opposition politicians in Uganda continue to lament after government security officers brutally disrupted political activists who were preparing for the United Forces of Change End of Year Prayers at Nsambya sharing hall in Kampala yesterday, 30the December 2022.

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has said that the ‘cruel treatment of Ugandans who don’t subscribe to the NRM cult isn’t going unnoticed.

“The brutal clique of warlords led by their master Gen.M7, must know that people’s power is more supreme than the machine guns they control,” FDC has said .

It was sweet and blood dripping as police and other security agencies clobbered opposition politicians and political activists who were scampering to reach Nsambya Shalling Hall to attend prayers.

Over 22 activists were arrested and spent the night at Kampala Central Police Station detained.

“These former criminals dressed in Police uniforms with an intent to prolong the bully’s life span must understand that someday, they will be curbed from behaving foolishly towards us and other opposition political parties.We shall not retreat until we achieve our objective,” FDC said.

Dr. Kizza Besigye, the former president of FDC, said those who are mistreating Ugandans will be pursued once the regime falls.

The FDC has said that their ambition this year to discontinue the oppression of Ugandans.

“Our cardinal role in 2023, is to take power back to its owners; the oppressed Ugandans, who are living like refugees, in their own country,” the political party said.

Adding: “This transformation will be executed through all the available means in our non-violent struggle.”
