Phaneroo Set for Grand Night of Prayer to Usher in 2026
Phaneroo Ministries prepares for one of Uganda’s largest Christian crossover gatherings as tens of thousands are expected at Naguru

Phaneroo Ministries International has confirmed that preparations are in high gear for its annual Night of Prayer, a major end-of-year Christian gathering expected to draw tens of thousands of worshippers as Uganda and the world welcome 2026. The event will be held at the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru.
The crossover service has grown into one of the most anticipated Christian events in the region, attracting believers from across Uganda as well as visitors from East Africa, Southern Africa, Europe, and North America. Thousands more are expected to follow the proceedings via livestream.
Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries International, said extensive logistics are already in place to accommodate the swelling numbers, including expanded sitting and parking space to ensure an orderly experience.
“We have prepared adequately for everyone who plans to join us. The grounds have been optimized to create a comfortable and secure environment, but I encourage everyone to come early,” Apostle Lubega said.
This year’s Night of Prayer will feature extended worship, intercessory sessions, prophetic ministry, and a keynote prophetic message for 2026 delivered by Apostle Lubega. The ministry says the crossover tradition, now more than a decade old, is regarded as a moment of spiritual alignment, renewal, and thanksgiving.
A lineup of gospel artists and the Phaneroo Choir will lead worship throughout the night, while security teams, ushers, and volunteers have been deployed to manage the large turnout. Transport services from selected points in Kampala and other regions are also being coordinated.
Organizers say thousands typically make life-changing spiritual commitments during the crossover, and they anticipate similar impact this year.
