Police place Shs10 million bounty on the mastermind behind Ndiga clan head murder
Enanga said among those in custody is Lugya Nuwa who was in critical condition in hospital but now has regained consciousness and Milly Naluwenda of Kisekwa court both accused of being behind the violent murder of Bbosa.
Police have confirmed the arrest of seven suspects concerning the murder of Ndiga clan head Daniel Bbossa.
Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson highlighted that Lugya Bbossa Tabula the prime mastermind behind the murder, is however still on the run and being wanted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Kibuli.
Enanga said among those in custody is Lugya Nuwa who was in critical condition in hospital but now has regained consciousness and Milly Naluwenda of Kisekwa court both accused of being behind the violent murder of Bbosa.
“We are not coming up with the particulars of the 5 suspects, but the case file has been submitted to the DPP pending legal guidance. One of the 5 has incriminating evidence for having participated in the murder plot that targeted and eliminated the victim (Daniel Bbosa),” he said.
He added that the full account of the preparation meetings, planning and acquisition of the killer weapon, hiring of killers, and execution of the murder will be available in due course.
“You are all aware the deceased was laid to rest in the Ndiga clan burial grounds in Mpigi town council yesterday. Our territorial teams in the Katonga region successfully policed the burial ceremony. But we want to pledge to the family and all loved ones, that the wanted suspects who are on the run are all known,”
Police noted that upon this background they have come up with an appeal for Lugya Bbosa Tabula, who was the mastermind behind the murder.
Enanga warned anyone who may know the whereabouts of the suspect not to hide any information; otherwise, they may also face the law.
A cash bounty of shs.10 million has been put in place for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
