Spice cancels Uganda show over promoter dispute

Dancehall star Spice cancels her Uganda concert citing unmet contractual obligations, leaving fans disappointed.

International dancehall sensation Spice has officially canceled her highly anticipated show in Uganda, scheduled for 6th December 2025, citing contractual disagreements with the event promoter.

In a statement shared on her official X account, Spice said:

“I will not be attending this event in Uganda on December 6th. I was truly excited and looking forward to meeting my brothers and sisters there but unfortunately the promoter did not fulfill the contractual agreements.”

The cancellation comes as a disappointment to fans who had been eagerly awaiting the artist’s first live performance in the country. Organizers have yet to issue a public statement addressing the contractual dispute or plans for refunds and rescheduling.

This incident highlights ongoing challenges in the Ugandan live music industry, particularly around contractual compliance and event management, as international artists increasingly include Uganda on their tour schedules.

Fans are encouraged to monitor Spice’s official channels and those of the local organizers for updates regarding ticket refunds or possible future performances.
