TotalEnergies commits Shs150m annual sponsorship to brand ambassador Joshua Cheptegei
TotalEnergies is looking forward to achieve great things in the energy transition and community development through the Joshua Cheptegei Development Foundation.
TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda has appointed Joshua Cheptegei as their brand Ambassador in a deal that will see the petroleum products retailer commit Shs150m in annual sponsorship to the Joshua Cheptegei Development Foundation.
TotalEnergies said Cheptegei will be the brand ambassador for TotalEnergies renewable energy solutions. The money, TotalEnergies said, will support the Foundation’s efforts in sustainably improving the lives of the children and the community.
Daniel MAYIEKA, the Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda, said the partnerships offer great things including the Joshua Cheptegi Christmas run in Kapchorwa which will be held tomorrow, 17th December 2022.
For tomorrow’s run, TotalEnergies shall be contributing 42 solar lamps and 42 12kg LPG cylinders and 42 fruit tree seedlings to the winners of the different categories as our way to providing a sustainable lighting solution for the children participating in the run.
