Uganda Bureau of Statistics donates UGX 30 Million to Rotary Club of Muyenga for Cancer Run

This generous contribution by the ED is part of Uganda Bureau of Statistics' Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives aimed at supporting communities, fostering corporate relations, and positively impacting the lives of Ugandan citizens. This commendable act comes ahead of the Rotary Cancer Run, scheduled for the coming weekend.

The Executive Director and Chief Statistician of Uganda Bureau of Statistics, Dr. Chris Mukiza, handed over a dummy cheque worth UGX 30 million to the Rotary Club of Muyenga this afternoon. The Club President, Alex Mugume, received the cheque in the presence of Deputy Governor Bank of Uganda, Prof. Augustus Nuwagaba, and other members of the Club.

The event serves as a vital fundraising effort to address the severe impact of cancer by supporting treatment and prevention initiatives.
