Uganda’s envoy to Kenya, Dr. Hassan Galiwango, passes away
Dr. Galiwango is most remembered as the former National Resistance Movement (NRM) finance director.
Uganda’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Dr. Hassan Galiwango, has died, it has been confirmed.
Sources say Dr. Galiwango was airlifted to Nairobi hospital over the weekend in critical condition.
Dr. Galiwango is most remembered as the former National Resistance Movement (NRM) finance director. At the time, he was in charge of the ruling party’s finances.
He was also a strong party mobilizer in eastern Uganda before his appointment as Uganda’s High Commissioner to Kenya on 16th June 2021.
Dr. Galilwango has been the husband to Mbale City Woman Member of Parliament, Connie Galiwango Kanakayenze.
