Why bodyguard killed minister Engola

People are saying the bodyguard had gone four months without pay yet he has a pregnant wife and school going kids.

Authorities, including police, the army or the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development haven’t spoken out officially following the fatal shooting of Col. (rtd) Charles Okello Macodwogo Engola, the State Minister for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations

It therefore remains officially unclear why the yet-to-be-named bodyguard chose to end the life of his boss in the manner he did, however, people who witnessed parts of the fracas say the bodyguard was complaining about the money the minister owes him and unpaid salary.

“How can I be broke when I work for the minister of employment,” eyewitnesses quote the bodyguard ranting before he shot himself dead.
