Court of Appeal celebrates newly enrolled advocates

The Court of Appeal has celebrated four former non-judicial staff and internship students who were recently enrolled on the Roll of Advocates, marking a major milestone in their legal careers.

The newly enrolled advocates are Mr. Kaddu Reagan David, Mr. Tuhebwe Joland, Ms. Atwine Charity, and Mr. Khaukha Micah.
During the event, the advocates expressed gratitude to the Justices of the Court of Appeal, Registrars, Magistrates, and non-judicial staff for the guidance, encouragement, and support they received throughout their legal training and professional journey.
Justice Geoffrey Kiryabwire, a Justice of the Court of Appeal and Court Administrator, congratulated the advocates on their achievement, noting that attaining the status of an advocate requires commitment and resilience.
Justice Kiryabwire acknowledged the challenges involved, including financial pressures, work responsibilities, and personal struggles, but commended the advocates for their determination and perseverance.
He encouraged them to explore the wide range of opportunities available in the legal profession beyond judicial service and urged them to continue developing their careers.
The event was attended by Court of Appeal Registrars, including Registrar HW Rukundo Allen Owembabazi, Deputy Registrars HW Natukunda Janeva, HW Zulaika Nanteza, and HW Jane Mugala, alongside Research Magistrate HW Wagana Margaret and other non-judicial staff.
The ceremony, moderated by HW Rukundo, concluded with a cake-cutting session in celebration of the advocates’ achievement.
