Masaka murder suspect linked to  14 Years of killings

Fred Mujulizi, also known as Kulaish Kamugisha, has been linked to a series of killings in Greater Masaka dating back to 2012.

Mujulizi, who allegedly confessed to killing an unidentified woman and eating human flesh, appeared before Masaka Grade One Magistrate Primer Kyomugisha on murder and human trafficking charges. He was remanded to Masaka Central Prison until November 5, 2026.

Police spokesperson Twaha Kasirye says investigators are reopening old murder cases as more people come forward accusing Mujulizi of killing their relatives. Additional charges may follow as investigations continue.

The allegations remain subject to court proceedings.
