Museveni congratulates grandson Ruhamya after Sandhurst graduation
Museveni said the graduation marked Ruhamya’s entry into the “big family of the UPDF,” and congratulated both young officers and their parents.
President Yoweri Museveni has congratulated his grandson, Ruhamya, and his colleague Bakyira after graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
In a message addressed to Ugandans, especially the “Bazzukulu,” Museveni thanked God for protecting Uganda and helping the country address its challenges. He also praised the National Resistance Movement (NRM), saying God had blessed the movement for over 60 years, including its predecessors.
Museveni said the graduation marked Ruhamya’s entry into the “big family of the UPDF,” and congratulated both young officers and their parents.
He encouraged young Ugandans to consider army service, saying it provides a strong foundation for personal development.
