Kenya launches club to boost Sino-Kenya ties

Tang Jianjun, counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, said the club will enhance cultural cooperation and people-to-people interactions. Peninah Malonza, cabinet secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage, hailed the club’s launch, saying the club will boost Sino-Kenya cultural communication through joint reading, networking, and discussion forums.
Sarah Serem, chief consultant of the club, said that a series of activities envisaged by the club, including annual tourism fairs, exhibitions, and seminars, will unleash mutual economic benefits besides fostering dialogue among Chinese and Kenyan nationals.
