Motor accident claims 3 at Forest Park Buloba
According to police, the bodies of the deceased were taken to Mulago City mortuary for postmortem examination.
Three people have died on spot after an accident occured at the Forest Park Buloba, along Kampala-Mityana Road.
The accident, according to traffic police, involved four motor vehicles: KBA 580V semi trailer, UBH 089R (Toyota Wish), UBF 979V (Toyota Hilux), UBH 008G (Toyota Harrier) and two motorcycles: UEO 751Z and UEV 616M (Bajaj Boxers).
Faridah Nampiima, the traffic police spokesperson, has confirmed that three passengers of Toyota Wish died on spot, and these included two women and one man.
Three victims sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearby clinic for medical help.
“It’s alleged that motor vehicle reg no KBA 580V (semi trailer) that was from Kampala heading to Mityana lost control and rammed into the Toyota Wish, killing three of its occupants and injuring another. It there after continued and rammed into the Toyota Hilux, Toyota Harrier and the Motorcycles,” she noted.
