Stanchart rewards ‘Jaguza ne Standard Chartered’ campaign July winners

Imagine being rewarded just for managing your money wisely. Standard Chartered Bank Uganda is making that a reality with the exciting “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign. The bank Friday announced 38 lucky winners for the month of July in its ongoing “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign.

Winners took home home appliances and shopping vouchers. The initiative, which launched on July 1st, is designed to reward clients for their loyalty through saving, transacting, and maintaining deposits with the bank.

The prize-giving ceremony, held at the Bank’s Head Office on Speke Road, saw excitement as winners from the Wealth and Retail Banking segments, including Personal, Business, and Affluent clients, received their rewards.

Eighteen of the lucky clients were recognized for depositing and maintaining at least UGX 1 million in their bank accounts throughout July. They walked away with valuable home appliances such as smart TVs, refrigerators, cookers, microwaves, and washing machines.

Additionally, twenty clients who successfully made a minimum of 10 card payments at Point-of-Sale terminals or through e-commerce with their debit cards during July were awarded UGX 100,000 shopping vouchers each.

The “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign is set to run until September 30th, 2024, with more monthly prizes still up for grabs. Building on the current momentum, the campaign also features a grand prize: five lucky clients who deposit and maintain UGX 100 million will win a fully paid trip for two to Dubai.

Paul Sefa Badu, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Uganda, underscored the bank’s commitment to its clientele and said the campaign demonstrate their commitment to putting clients at the heart of everything they do.

Lydia Nakamya, General Manager, Affluent Banking and Wealth Management, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the campaign’s role in delivering tangible value and building strong relationships.

The “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign is open to a broad range of clients, including those in business, personal, and affluent banking segments. Eligible accounts include current and savings accounts (in both local and foreign currencies) as well as term deposit accounts.
