UNEB to release 2024 UACE results on Friday
As is tradition, the release event will be presided over by the Education Minister and attended by key education stakeholders.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed that the 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results will be released on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at State House Nakasero.
The announcement follows a successful briefing of the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni, on the overall performance of Senior Six candidates. The UNEB team, led by Chairperson Prof. Celestino Obua and Executive Director Mr. Dan Odongo, conducted the briefing at State House on Wednesday.
As is tradition, the release event will be presided over by the Education Minister and attended by key education stakeholders. UNEB has assured the public of a transparent and credible examination process, emphasizing that the results accurately reflect students’ performance.
A total of 142,009 candidates sat for the 2024 UACE exams from 2,634 centers nationwide. This included 80,041 male and 61,968 female candidates.
Students who qualify for higher education are expected to enroll in universities and other institutions in August 2025 for the 2025/26 academic year.
Parents, students, and school administrators are encouraged to follow the official release and use UNEB’s digital platforms to access results once they are published.
