The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) leadership has celebrated a special birthday milestone, with the organisation’s team surprising their head with a heartfelt celebration organised by the Human Resource and Administration Department.
In a message of appreciation, the UCC official expressed gratitude to the team, describing the surprise as a moment filled with warmth, joy and encouragement.
The official attributed the milestone to God’s grace and protection, while emphasising the importance of discipline, hard work and personal responsibility in achieving success.
Reflecting on life experiences, the UCC boss encouraged young people to avoid unnecessary pressure caused by comparing themselves with others or pursuing lifestyles beyond their current means.
He noted that achievements such as owning expensive assets often come after years of patience, sacrifice and consistent effort, urging young people to focus on gradual growth and financial discipline.
The official also advised people to prioritise their health by avoiding smoking, limiting alcohol consumption and adopting lifestyles that promote long-term wellbeing.
“Growth is a journey of faith, patience, and self-control,” he said, thanking the UCC family for making the birthday celebration memorable and reaffirming commitment to continued service and sharing wisdom.
