Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been banned from driving for six months after receiving two motoring convictions within two days.
The former England international was handed the six-month driving ban and ordered to pay fines and court fees totalling £1,472 following court hearings in August.

The 51-year-old football legend was caught speeding while driving his Range Rover in March during a late-night journey through Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. His vehicle was recorded travelling at 37mph in a 30mph zone, leading to a prosecution by West Yorkshire Police.
Scholes was also convicted over a separate incident involving a Mercedes registered in his name, which was caught travelling at 49mph in a 30mph zone in November 2025. He was later prosecuted for failing to respond to police requests to confirm the driver’s identity.
