The fifth edition of the Consumers’ Choice Awards was Tuesday launched at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala. The theme for this year’s edition is ‘Recognizing Business Excellence.’
Salim Bari, the Chief Executive Officer of Consumers’ Guide Magazine, the organizer of the Awards said the public can start voting for their favourite companies, products and service providers.
He said the Awards are a true reflection of the marketplace as it represents the opinion of consumers and buyers across Uganda. He called on consumers to vote wisely.
He said they should vote for a brand that consistently delivers a high level of service to its customers. Voting, now open, and largely online through a website, ends on 30th June 2023.
Once the voting is done, an awards gala will be held on 25th August 2023. At the gala, the winners will be announced and given their prestigious awards.
To vote, visit the website awards.cgmagazine.biz, enter your phone number and check your phone for a five-digit code to start voting.
John Tumwesigye, the commercial manager of Sumz Food Industries, said they are eager to hear what the consumers have to say about their product by voting.
If they vote for us, we get the zeal to stay in business and serve them better, Tumwesigye noted.
Each year, the Consumers’ Guide Magazine recognizes the best companies for their earnest efforts in business excellence and for keeping the consumers’ best interests in mind.
Dr Sidharth Jain, the Director of Curiosity Healthcare Centre, one of the sponsors of the Awards, noted that they are inspired by the desire and belief that everyone has a right to smile and stay healthy hence participating in the Awards.
