The management of Buganda Kingdom-leaning BBS Terefayina has this afternoon reported that their employee Kenneth Kavulu, the presenter of BBS Omugotteko program, has been abducted.
The television station said gunmen travelling in a vehicle with number plates UAQ 024G, a Mark II, abducted Kavulu while he was leaving Masengere, their office building in Bulange Mengo.

Kavulu’s abduction has been criticized by National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
We have learnt of another abduction on Tuesday 4:00pm, of a journalist called Kavulu Kenneth who works with ,@bbstvug. Gun-wielding men violently forced him into a Mark II vehicle and drove him away at breakneck speed. Right outside Masengere. No body knows where he is. pic.twitter.com/hrkLVkG8Kb

Members of Parliament (MP) tasked Prime Minister Nabbanja to explain the rampant abductions of citizens in the country.
“The press reports are now averse with reports of abductions, the drones are back, people are being abducted and their places of detention are not known,” Winfred Niwagaba, MP Ndorwa East.
