Manchester United are on the hunt for a new manager after parting ways with Erik ten Hag just weeks into the season.
Despite signing a one-year extension in the summer, Ten Hag was dismissed following United’s worst start to a Premier League campaign in nine games.
The Dutchman had lifted the FA Cup by defeating Manchester City at Wembley, seemingly securing his position.
However, United held discussions with potential replacements after a record-low 8th-place finish in the league. The poor results left minority owners Ineos and their new football operations team with their first big decision.
While United had summer talks with Thomas Tuchel, he’s now managing England and out of contention.
Ineos is reportedly interested in former England manager Gareth Southgate, Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna, and former Brighton boss Graham Potter.
