UNEB confirms PLE results release date

Parents expected UNEB to release their children’s examination last week by the examination body said there was a delay even when they had finished marking.

Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed Friday, 27th January 2023 as the release date of the 2022 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni, also the First Lady of Uganda, will officiate and release the examination results at State House Nakasero.

Parents expected UNEB to release their children’s examination last week by the examination body said there was a delay even when they had finished marking.

In 2022, 832, 702 pupils registered for primary seven (PLE) as compared to 767, 110 who did in 2020, the last time the country had learners sit for national exams.  In 2022, 432, 851 pupils (52%) are females while 399. 851 are males.
