Uganda reaffirms commitment to investment as officials meet Staunch Machinery CEO

Kampala, Uganda — Uganda has reaffirmed its commitment to attracting and supporting investors following a meeting with Mohammad Khoder Hussein, the CEO of Middle East Group and Staunch Machinery Uganda, who also serves as the Honorary Consul of Uganda to Lebanon.
The discussions focused on the role of Staunch Machinery Uganda in supporting the country’s investment landscape and contributing to economic growth through the provision of industrial solutions.
Staunch Machinery Uganda supplies construction and earth-moving equipment, storage and handling solutions, as well as garage equipment, serving key sectors of Uganda’s economy, including construction, infrastructure development and industry.
The meeting highlighted the importance of private sector investment in creating business opportunities, strengthening industries and contributing to national development.
Uganda appreciated investors such as Hussein for choosing the country as a destination for business expansion and growth, emphasizing that the country remains open to partnerships that promote innovation, job creation and sustainable economic progress.
The engagement comes as Uganda continues efforts to position itself as an attractive investment destination through partnerships with local and international businesses.
