Pride Bank opens a fully fledged branch in Kisoro to expand access to banking services

The branch is expected to provide customers with a wider range of financial services, supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses seeking reliable banking solutions.

Pride Bank has officially opened a fully-fledged branch in Kisoro District, marking a significant step towards improving access to formal and affordable banking services for residents, businesses, and institutions in the district and surrounding areas.

The new branch upgrade follows years of steady growth since Pride Bank established its presence in Kisoro on January 21, 2018. The increased demand for banking services and the district’s growing economic potential prompted the bank to transform its outlet into a fully operational branch.

The branch is expected to provide customers with a wider range of financial services, supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses seeking reliable banking solutions.

As part of the launch activities, Pride Bank Managing Director Veronicah Gladys Namagembe has been engaging with district leaders, schools and business associations in Kisoro to understand their financial needs, respond to concerns and strengthen partnerships within the community.

Namagembe said the engagements are aimed at ensuring the bank continues to design services that address the realities and priorities of the Kisoro community.

The expansion reflects Pride Bank’s commitment to increasing financial inclusion and bringing accessible banking services closer to communities across Uganda.
