FUFA passes Shs37.1bn 2024 budget
The Assembly also unanimously passed a resolution to award President Yoweri Museveni with the FUFA Golden Honour for his resounding support towards football and sports in general.
The 99th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly that sat in Moroto district passed an expenditure forecast (proposed budget) of Shs37.1bn for the financial year 2024.
The budget will focus on areas such as Governance, Administration, Football Development, Competitions, National Teams, Communications, Marketing, Infrastructure and Stakeholders.
The Assembly also unanimously passed a resolution to award President Yoweri Museveni with the FUFA Golden Honour for his resounding support towards football and sports in general.
FUFA says that over the years, the President has made direct financial support to football. “The President is a strong advocate and believer of the East African Community integration and that was very instrumental in securing the AFCON 2027 hosting rights for the three countries (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania).”
