Uganda won the first leg 5-2 in the game played at Stade de Planete Plage in Moroni, Comoros on Sunday, 24th July 2022. The win gives Uganda a big advantage ahead of the return leg.

And FUFA now wants the Sand Cranes players to capitalize on this advantage and qualify for the continental showpiece.

FUFA president Moses Magogo led the federation’s executive to moral boost the Sand Cranes players.

‘We are here to motivate the team. We know how much we have invested in the development of Beach soccer in Uganda. It is time to keep shining on the Continent and this must be done by knocking out Comoros next weekend’ noted FUFA President.
