On Monday, Bigirimana while launching another book called “A Small Book of BIG Quotes”, at the Judiciary headquarters said he cares about what happens in this institution called marriage.

The Permanent Secretary to the Judiciary Dr Pius Bigirimana has defended his recently launched book about sex saying he didn’t write about lovemaking as an academician but rather as a concerned caring parent.

The book titled “Naked Truth” was recently launched by Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo. It has a controversial chapter on how and when to have sex. This particular chapter garnered controversy on social media platforms.

Many people are criticizing Bigirimana’s literature because of the profane language used.

However, on Monday, Bigirimana while launching another book called “A Small Book of BIG Quotes”, at the Judiciary headquarters said he cares about what happens in this institution called marriage.

He added that he wrote it for people who are in marriage and those who are aspiring to get married so that they understand the sex subject and expect it as the main reason for the union of a man and a woman and that without it families are breaking down.

According to Bigirimana, “The conversation in this book is about African sex magic and in it; I dared to unravel the mysteries of human sexuality and magic hidden within the African traditions.”

He said as he wrote, he reflected on the inter-collectedness of people’s bodies and spirits.

The Principal Judge Dr. Flavian Zeija, Bigirimana presiding over the launch of a new book, “A Small Book of Big Quotes”.  Zeija noted that celebrating local writers can also have a profound impact on literacy rates and the love of reading within our communities.

“As we celebrate the launch of Dr. In Bigirimana’s book, we not only honour his exceptional talent but also recognize the broader significance of valuing and quoting our local authors.” Zeija said.

A Small Book of Big Quotes is the latest literal work from Bigirimana; his sixth published book. “My Journey as an author has been one of exploration, discovery and relentless truth. Each of these books represents a chapter in my life,” Bigirimana said.
