Canine Association of Uganda and Federation Cynologique International partnership now operational
The canine association of Uganda is now an official partner of the federation cynologique internationale, the world organization for pedigree dogs with more than one hundred countries as members.

The canine association of Uganda is now an official partner of the federation cynologique international the world canine organization after signing a contract partnership recently which makes the partnership signing operational.
According to the statement issued by the canine association of Uganda, the association is recognized across federation cynologique international network of all national canine organizations.
The contract partnership is official first step and comes with real rights and real duties for a partner to fulfill.
Under the federation cynologique international rules, the canine association of Uganda must exclude any breeds or sell dogs purely for profit which means that puppy farmers and dog breeders cannot breed Canine association of Uganda name.
According to the statement issued by the canine association of Uganda leadership, the association has called Ugandans who want to improve their kneels and breed dogs while considering their welfare as a primary duty to join them and that only dogs that breed under federation cynologique international rules and entered in canine association of Uganda studbook recieve federation cynologique international recognition pedigrees bearing FCI logo.
” Uganda can now train its own judges, CAU can now prepare Ugandan judges, dog shows at home and abroad, the Federation cynologique international has rules and canine association of Uganda must follow them and so must every breeder who registers with Canine association of Uganda, Said Nada Anderson the chairperson of Canine association of Uganda.
“Breeding must put the dog’s health first, people who breed or sell dogs only to make money without caring for their dogs cannot breed under Canine association of Uganda ‘s name, Nada Anderson added.
The Canine association of Uganda is a fully registered association of dog enthusiasts since January 2021 with people involved who are passionate about dogs, their well being and responsible breeding of a variety of breeds like German shepherds, Rottweiler, Doberman and other pure breeds.
The canine association of Uganda is now an official partner of the federation cynologique internationale, the world organization for pedigree dogs with more than one hundred countries as members.
Ugandan dog’s papers can now count abroad, Ugandans can now sell or travel with their dogs, dog breeders can register their kneel name worldwide and no body can use it.
