Newlife Churches strengthen fellowship during Buyende worship weekend

Newlife Church Buyende was filled with worship, prayer and fellowship over the weekend as congregants welcomed a visiting team from Newlife Church Kampala for a three-day programme focused on spiritual renewal and strengthening Christian fellowship.
The programme, which ran from Friday to Sunday, brought together believers for worship, prayer, encouragement and sharing of faith, according to Pastor Ronald Zigwana of Newlife Church Buyende.
Pastor Zigwana described the gathering as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, saying what began as a visit by the Kampala congregation developed into a weekend of spiritual fellowship and renewal.
The church community worshipped and prayed together, while members from the two congregations shared moments of encouragement and fellowship.
“God brought us together, and His presence brought transformation,” Pastor Zigwana said, describing the weekend as an opportunity for believers to strengthen their faith and encourage one another.
He said the gathering demonstrated the importance of Christians coming together with a shared commitment to seek God, noting that the experience went beyond ordinary fellowship.
According to the pastor, the weekend also provided an opportunity for the two Newlife Church communities to build stronger relationships and share their experiences in ministry.
He expressed appreciation to the team from Newlife Church Kampala for travelling to Buyende, serving alongside the local congregation and participating in the worship and prayer sessions.
Pastor Zigwana said the activities would remain an important testimony of what can be achieved when believers unite in faith and purpose.
He described the visit as a reminder that fellowship can strengthen communities, inspire believers and create opportunities for spiritual growth.
The weekend concluded with appreciation to all those who participated, with Newlife Church Buyende saying the visit had strengthened its relationship with the Kampala congregation and renewed its commitment to worship, prayer and service.
