Pallaso warns musicians to demand transparency before working with promoters

Ugandan singer Pallaso has cautioned fellow musicians to be cautious when entering agreements with event promoters, urging them to seek clarity on key issues before accepting performance deals.

In a message directed at artists, Pallaso advised musicians to ensure they understand matters concerning payment, safety at venues, ticket management, and accountability before working with promoters.

He stressed that artists should not ignore warning signs and should always confirm the terms of engagement to protect their interests and ensure fair treatment.

Pallaso’s remarks come amid growing concerns among performers about delayed payments, poor event organisation, and lack of transparency in some entertainment deals.

The singer emphasized that musicians deserve respect, safe working conditions, and fair compensation, just like other professionals.

He encouraged artists to prioritise clear communication and accountability before committing to shows or partnerships with promoters.
