Jovan Kasujja has signed his first professional contract with Brentford FC

Ugandan teenage forward Jovan Kasujja has reached a major milestone after signing his first professional contract with English Premier League side Brentford FC.

The 16-year-old striker, who has been part of Brentford’s youth setup, earned the deal following an impressive season with the club’s Under-18 team, where he finished as joint top scorer with 14 goals and provided five assists.

Kasujja’s achievement has been celebrated by the Ugandan football community, with well-wishers congratulating him, his family, and everyone who supported his journey. Former FUFA President Lawrence Mulindwa was also recognised for his contribution to the player’s development.

The young forward becomes one of the latest Ugandan talents making strides in European football, as he begins a new chapter with Brentford.
