Joseph Sabiti reportedly faces exit from Parliament as NBS Boss Kin Kariisa offers him a job

Former Principal Press Secretary to former Speaker Anita Among Joseph Sabiti is reportedly facing an exit from Parliament after failing to present a master’s degree certificate or transcript during a staff verification exercise.

Sources say Sabiti presented provisional results for a Master’s programme in Strategic and Corporate Communication at Makerere University, but the verification team reportedly required a transcript or certificate for the position he held

The exercise has reportedly raised questions about his academic qualifications, although Parliament has not officially confirmed the outcome.

Meanwhile, NBS TV Chief Executive Officer Kin Kariisa has publicly invited Sabiti to return to the media house, where he previously worked as a political journalist before joining Parliament in 2021.

It remains unclear whether Sabiti will leave Parliament or accept Kariisa’s offer.
